***approved by admin*** This event supports the QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute. My brother is doing the Ride for a Cure this year and is looking for sponsorship - 100% of the funds raised goes directly to the Institute. Unfortunately, in recent years, I have been touched by a number of friends diagnosed with cancer, as well as my own health challenges, so I was keen to get behind this cause. This is a day when we can give back. Whilst the cause is serious, the day will be lots of fun – lots of raffles, lucky door prizes, and of course, cardmaking and give-aways. This event is suitable for all levels of experience (including no experience). Everyone will receive a gorgeous boxed kit which contains seven cute sentiment rubber stamps, all supplies required to complete 20 cards excluding sharp scissors and glue stick or double sided tape (available for sale on the day) and morning and afternoon tea. The Library is air-conditioned. Photos of the kit, some of the cards to be completed and the rubber stamps are included on the flyer. Bookings are essential by 10 March 2015 as I have to order your goodies prior to the workshop. Numbers are limited. Event is on the southside of Brisbane. Get a group of friends together and book a table. This is such a great opportunity to get together with your friends and have fun. Please support this most worthy of causes.
