#celiacdisease My diagnosis officially came Wednesday. I knew it was coming but I was still shocked. I am so blessed that I will be able to heal my body more of less with just avoiding gluten. I am thankful it was not anything worse like we originally thought. I am also so greatful to my GI doctor Dr. Malik who thought to test me for it. After reviewing my symptoms and my pregnancy with Jaxs this last time he knew I needed some answers. I am so greatful to him for helping me get them. I wonder now what it will feel like to not feel sick after every meal and to not feel exhausted all the time. I have so many other symptoms to personal to share. I pray people understand that it is not a choice for me that it is a true allergic reaction to gluten. This is an auto immune disease and I have so much to learn. I pray people will be kind when I refused to eat something or taste something. I pray that my children will adjust to a gluten free lifestyle. I pray for the day that I will feel better. I pray for the day that being gluten free and celiac will just be part of my life, just second nature.
