dailydot/entertainment/back-to-the-future-2015-wrong/ Obvious clickbait is obvious? The tech is actually there for most of this stuff. 1 and 3 (flying cars and mr. fusion) - you only get #1 if you make #3. The Russians tried to put nuclear reactors on aircraft decades ago. However if you care about the crew you have to put enough shielding on there as to offset the gains you made. Also think of how difficult things are just trying to figure out the niche that drones exist in and combine motor vehicle idiocy to that...with portable nuclear reactors. Basically both of these will always be retarded ideas regardless of the tech. 2 and 6 - the article points out that technically these do exist just not for the masses and then goes on to bemoan the fact they dont exist at all (but you just said they did?). 4 - Kind of reverse of the above. The first paragraph says we dont have these things and then the second paragraph says we basically wouldnt notice. I guess that makes sense considering they forgot all about Mike Tysons facial tat... 5 - We have both the lab grown burger and the 3D printed burger. This tech has been bypassed by better tech. 7 - Similar to 5 in that our actual tech (various hydrophobic coatings) have bypassed the need for this obsolete tech. 8 - Theres already been games out there that work off brainpower, albeit mostly as toys and novelty items. I think Sony had some patents on some of them but in this case its not the tech not being there its companies not doing anything with it (or the rest of us just not caring what the next big thing is anymore since thats the only way products are sold anymore...) 9 - Tupac and Michael Jackson have both performed hologrammatic concerts with better tech than this. What the movie didnt predict however was instead of adding sequel numbers ad infinitum, we now simply reboot the series after number 3.
