emen. Shiites massacred Muslims in Dammaj Publication time: 31 October 2013, 12:11 On the photo: This 12-year-old girl was wounded by a Shiite sniper On Wednesday, the fighting broke out again in northern Yemen between Muslims and Raafidites of the group al-Houthi (named after one of the ringleaders of Shiites, Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi), who are besieging the Sunnis in the town of Dammaj (see the map), in Saada province, writes UmmaNews. Xinhua reports that 20 people were killed, more than 100 were injured. The conflict broke out after the Shiites/Houthis launched an offensive on Dammaj on Wednesday morning. The Houthis bombed a mosque with Katyusha rockets during midday prayers, said Abu Ismail al-Hajouri. - Four Salafis were killed and 14 wounded. A mosque was hit by a rocket fired by the Houthi rebels while people were praying, another source said, adding that the shelling lasted till the evening, killed 20 people and injured more than 100. The town of Dammaj is located in the province of Saada which borders with Saudi Arabia. It is noteworthy that the Saudi regime, possessing sufficient military force to repel any aggression of Shia insurgents, did not venture into the territory of Yemen. Moreover, the KSA protects the Shiites, allowing them to pollute with their presence the Sacred Mosque and perform rituals of polytheism in it. According to the source, the formation of Rafidites has been besieging Dammaj for several weeks - the polytheists demand Muslims to leave the town. The other day, a gang of Shiites invaded Sunni homes in the area and carried out a massacre of women and children. It is also reported that some Muslim women had been raped by Shiites. The blockade of the town has been going for 3 weeks now, and it is impossible to bring any food, provisions or medicines into the area. *** In Dammaj, students from different countries study at the Dar al-Hadith University - the largest in Yemen. According to some estimates, up to 7000 students of different nationalities are studying there. In Dammaj, there is a noticeable presence of the followers of Murjism. Local Sunni leaders urged the pro-American puppet government of Yemen to intervene and stop the massacre of Muslims. It is to be recalled that in 2011, after the Mujahideen received the news about Raafidite aggression against Sunnis in northern Yemen, Emir of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), Sheikh Abu Basir al-Wahishi, ordered units to be send to Dammaj to protect the honour and property of their brethren. Al-Qaeda expressed its willingness to provide arms, ammunition and carry out training for every Muslim volunteers from Abyan who wanted to go to Jihad in the province of Saada. Sources reported that Shiite militias attacked Muslims from the US, France, Indonesia and Russia, who arrived in Yemen to study. Gangs of Raafidites were very well armed and outnumbered Sunnis in strength and numbers. At their disposal, there were RPGs, tanks and artillery. Meanwhile, Muslims resisted using small arms only. *** In this regard, the armed forces of al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula pledged to take decisive action and do everything possible to end the siege of Dammaj. AQAP Mufti Sheikh Ibrahim al-Rubaish said in one of audio messages: We were saddened by the Shiite rebels months-long siege on our people in Dammaj in Saada. Therefore, we declare Jihad to eliminate such malignant germs from the surface of the region. From southern Yemen, Mujahideen headed towards north, trekking few hundred miles by land. In Saada, AQAP fighters managed to eliminate one of the military ringleaders of Raafidites. But after a few months, it became known that local murjites repaid Mujahideen for their assistance. According to Yemeni freelance journalist Abdul Razak al-Jamal, the first time murjites were quiet because they were weak and needed help, but even then they refused to answer greetings of AQAP Mujahideen. After several battles, culminating in a victory, sectarians got stronger and began to threaten Mujahideen, saying that after Raafidites they would take on the Kharijites. When murjites felt even more entrenched in Kitafe, they committed treason against the Mujahideen - they started to shoot their brothers in the back. Two Mujahideen martyred (InshaAllah). After this incident, the fighters of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula left the province of Saada and returned to Abyan and Shabwa. According to Abdul Razak al-Jamal, the Saudi regime warned local sectarians that if at least one AQAP Mujahidid joins their ranks, Riyadh would no longer support them. In the spring 2012, it became known that murjites, backed Yemeni military and US forces, launched an offensive on the positions of AQAP in the south of Yemen. It is to be note that, in spite of their extreme views and scepticism towards the defensive jihad in Afghanistan and Iraq, Yemen and North Africa, Caucasus and Kazakhstan, Mali and Egypt, they declared their own Jihad against Raafidites as legal. When it comes to their own, murjites spread the photos and videos of crimes in Dammaj. They are calling for material help and invoke Allah with the prayer. But none of them ever bother when trouble befalls Muslims from other countries. They issued no photos of dead and injured Muslims, or calls to donate to the cause of Allah and Jihad and make a prayer. Saudi palace scholars, who consider the Mujahideen who are fighting against the Americans, French and Russian as Kharijites fighting on the path of Satan, have endorsed Jihad in Dammaj. Noteworthy is the fact that none of Arab apostate rulers, who is considered by murjites as Sharia and legitimate, provided any military aid to them. Moreover, the Yemeni province of Saada is located near the border with KSA and Saudi ringleaders have all opportunities to use armed forces on the ground in Dammaj and stop the bloodshed, but no military action has been taken, and it looks like it will not be taken any time soon. The only ones who responded to the call for help were the Mujahideen of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula. Department of Monitoring Kavkaz Center
