for those that think Beyonce cant sing, doesnt have depth or is just a pop artist & just an entertainer....Here is Beyonce singing straight serious Ella Fitzgerald Jazz & blending it with Funk in a very stripped down version of her classic Deja Vu....NO FILTER...NO EXTRA FANCY LIGHTS....JUST A KICK ASS VERSATILE BAND AND HER VOICE People tend to forget that Beyonce roots are in Gospel singing where she got her training in church in addition to studying Aretha, Patti, Tina, Etta, Chaka & Donna...Matthew Knowles was no fool...like Joseph Jackson did with his sons, Matthew made sure his daughters were well schooled on the real shit before releasing them into this business which is why Beyonce sounded vocally mature beyond her years when Destinys Child first came out In more recent years, her shows & married life get more conversation but thats what happens when you become one of the biggest pop stars.....but through it all, her real singing roots never lose....Like I always say, personal taste is one thing but that shouldnt make someone discredit whats obviously proven
