Quickly imagine this: cooking in a shack, no bigger than a small bathroom, no proper ventilation, let alone a proper firepit, children running around, you can hear the billow of the wind coming through the cracks of the wall. Youre trying to boil a pot of water when a child bumps you gently and you kick the stones around the fire and the pot of boiling water splashes all over you. Not only do you have burns but the dirt floor has soaked up the water creating a mud..what do you do? A donation, as little as the cost of your every day Tim Hortons or even Starbucks coffee, could help change the lives of a future generation. The supplies needed arent many, look around the back yard. Make this real life, how many of you have access to the bricks that they so importantly NEED to create a healthy living situation. Think of the future of this beautiful tribe, the Mayas are wonderful people who have been through just as much as any other tribe or village, and have no resources. Im not going to preach to you the conditions of their living because we have the ability to search for videos on the internet. Im going to recommend you go watch some videos on the quality of life in Guatemala. Many children, mothers and fathers, suffering burns and smoke inhalation damage to the tissues of their lungs and their eyeballs. these mothers do what they can, just like mothers here. What about the pregnant mothers who are inhaling smoke, damaging babies before they are even born. With all this being said, take your coffee money, the dog wash money, the 2 dollar pop at the store, dont charge the coffee to your debit, or that 3 dollar scratch ticket, wash the dog at home, make a pot of coffee before you go out, dont get that scratch ticket.. I challenge you to not use your debit card for one day, mark how many transactions would have went down, then I encourage you to take that 10 dollars in fees and donate it. Donate something as simple as filling out the volunteer application, or setting up a booth at your local market. We ask our higher power every day for the assistance we, the messenger, need or want. They are asking, praying and I am relaying to you, my fellow healers and light workers, the message. I am not an advocate, I do not know this Guatemala Stove Project, I do not get the money..
