had a fabulous long weekend. Since Ryan M. Colker was out of town on a work trip and I was scheduled to telework on Thursday and Friday anyway, I decided to head down to Cynthia Silverblatt and Stanley Silverblatts house. On Thursday night, we had crabs at the new Crab House by Big Fish. It was delicious, definitely the best crab place in the RB area. Friday night, we went to see Jersey Boys. It was meh, very disappointing compared to the show. Saturday morning, I did juicy-self care. I had a bamboo massage at Avenue Apothecary & Spa. It was fabulous, much-needed, very relaxing, and really helped my hips. I spent the rest of the day with Morgan A. Kaplan. Morgan bought me a gluten-free Jewish cookbook from the Jewish Museum in New York. What a lovely gift, I cant wait to try the recipes. We had lunch at Big Fish Grill. It was delicious, as always. We went shopping for Alex & Ani bracelets. We got yet another matching bracelet, plus one for my mom as well. We went to Bling, I had a spa pedicure, and Morgan had a spa manicure. They were fabulous and we both got gorgeous sparkly colors of Morgan Taylor polish. Morgan accompanied me to Marissa and Ethans bnai mitzvah lesson to surprise her old students. She was so proud that she couldnt stop kvelling. When Morgan dropped me off, she came in to say hello to my parents. They couldnt get over how grown up she is (my baby is almost 21!). Then I got to head to National Airport to go pick up Ryan. Now I get to spend the day relaxing at home with my hubby, doing laundry, and running errands.
