has just finished lunch; posting first update in two days; wondering why, in the midst of Gods richness and wealth in real time, the winter days, the news of the world, the struggles of students, still manage to muffle his joy; working most of the afternoon on some reference letters and a meeting with two colleagues; Hang Night at bcm house this evening for those fainting from finals... Worthy art Thou, O Lord, of praise, but ah! Its not in me. My sinking heart I pray Thee raise so shall I give it Thee. My life as spiders webbs cut off, thus fainting have I said, And living man no more shall see but be in silence laid. My feeble spirit Thou didst revive, my doubting Thou didst chide, And though as dead madst me alive, I here a while might bide. Why should I live but to Thy praise? My life is hid with Thee.
