hey guys so i am doing great this morning and im looking forward to going to my new place. i am going to go to a life skill program this morning until 1pm and i get to have lunch there and then my worker Cory is going to pick me up and take me to my new home. I am so excited and my psych team has made me voluntary under the mental health act. they want to see how I can function without all the restrictions and someone breathing down my neck 24/7. She (My doctor) said I will still have this unit at the hospital with the same room if i have trouble in my new place and I need to come somewhere for respite but the respite will only be a short stay bc they want to see me not come here as much to recondition me to live as independently as possible in the community with community supports. And when I go to college I get to use public transit on my own!
