The community issues are your issues, if you are trying to build bridges. you should think about releasing a statement of solidarity. Highland Park had a police brutality rally yesterday. New Brunswick Today and other community news outlets were there. You must start to learn how to breath, walk, and talk with the community... your heart should be with them on all fronts. Compassion is not just giving out objects... it is also having the will to confront the tough issues that threaten the lives of each and every human being. Police Brutality is a major concern in the homeless community... check Anams film for a reference point. A friendly suggestion for you guys to keep working on remaining relevant. If you can put out messages of support on your individual projects... you can take the time to address Ferguson, Eric Garner, and incidences like these. its not hard they are on the internet. Use your voices, hearts, and minds. once again, a friendly encouragement and suggestion for an immediate topic to be addressed.
