i am sitting here teary eyed because of going through my research for the latest Morgan Heart Chronicles book. i have done lots of research about the witch trials in Salem Village and it literally tears my heart out to what those people had to endure. i went to google earth and looked up where Gallows Hill was and although many people say that it cannot be located, other historians know of the location based on eye accounts. so i looked it up and it made me into a mess. you can actually see a path leading up the hill where there are no trees as well as a section without any. it made me so sad that i had to take a break from writing. so...i am, however, i felt i had to write this...i felt compelled to, actually. to the hundreds that died needlessly, you are thought of and you are loved.
