i completely understand single parents dating but what i dont understand is how or why they can introduce a man/woman to their child when they just started dating then have their child calling them mommy or daddy. if jesse and i ever got divorce hell no i wouldnt like being single and eventually i would start dating but i wouldnt introduce kaiden and jessa for at least 6months or so till i for sure new the relationship was serious and they wouldnt call him daddy till we got married and he owned up to the name by being in our lives for a while and took on the responsibilities. kids dont understand, it is hard enough when a parent leaves but then you add this new person its confusing to them. i know my father was a "whore" and i didnt have a permenent mother figure. not taking credit from either of my moms but they couldnt always be there for me because of my fathers abuse. all the women he brought into my life was extremely hard on me. i just dont see how a parent can do that. take time in your relationship before introducing the little person/people that your world revolves around. then when they meet explain that this person is your friend and that they would like to be apart of that childs life and get to know each other.
