in my role as a medical physicist in the nhs I was promoted to a higher pay scale this month, since I am more skilled. But I only received a 1.8% pay rise in these austerity times, which is actually a pay cut when you consider inflation, we live in sparse times. But those who wrecked the economy are not joining in with the citizenship of sharing of this burden. In fact its quite the opposite: they are awarding themselves unusually large bonuses. What should be done to encourage decent citizenship?
