leading multinational insurance company need a Team leader. To manage a sales team of 15, manage marketing & business objectives of the subordinate team, meeting or exceeding key targets. Sales Management: + Support direct sales team members in their sales activities by one-to-one coaching in sales skills. + Fully liable for direct team adherence to day-to-day including but not limited to daily attendance, sales schedules, team behaviour & quality of sales. + Arrange for the recruitment of appropriately qualified sales team, in line with manpower targets, and using the Company’s recruitment process. + Fully liable for direct team turnover ratios. + Ensure that all sales team members are given the appropriate development opportunities in the furtherance of Company objectives, and encourage relevant self-development activities. Arrange such technical, product, and skills training as may be appropriate .+ Conduct one-to-one sales meetings with direct reports, at least weekly, to review performance, disseminate Company information, address common problems and individual concerns, encourage two-way communication, and rally the team to achieve goals. Meet direct reports as a group, fortnightly. + Carry out quarterly staff appraisals in line with Company procedure, to review the individual’s performance against targets, and identify training and development needs. + Ensure all direct reports perform Key Performance Areas and Activities in accordance with Company’s set KPIs & standards (Sales and Sales Management Indicators) and Company Regulation. + Identify SMs’ training needs, through the appraisal process and on-going. In conjunction with the Training Department, plan and schedule appropriate technical, product, and skills training necessary. Customer Contact: + Frequently meet clients to resolve issues where the policy holder requests this, or otherwise where the SAMs regards it as necessary so as to preserve good client relationships with the Company. Training & Development Planning: + Participate in relevant technical, product and skills training arranged by the company, and take the initiative in keeping abreast of development in products and services. Ensure that relevant knowledge and skills are disseminated to the SAM’s team in appropriate ways. + Directly responsible to develop sales team skills to ensure healthy career development & promotions for direct team members.
