my momma done left me.... alone with my beloved in a beautiful setting. time to wash clothes have a tub soak get dressed await dear colleens arrival and hope she is up for a walk under a great big umbrella. then we are here packing eating cleaning and gotta check the train schedule: here is now sunday. tomorrow mon = an 11 ish train (! on 11 11...but of course) from cold spring to 125th street; ride given by neighbor frank rempe the younger, w much gratitude from us; a cab-ish ride to a groovy new marriot at 400 e 94 st can you believe it and 135 bucks and with a swimming pool (indoor, & also a hot tub!! and right near we wanna be!!!! to dump our bags... cause this aint no vacation but can NOT leave nyc w/o seeing the chagalls at the jewish museum on 92nd, and then a visit with 97 y/o dear lynn berger long time friend of the family and widow of milton who co edited some books w dad (& milton & me both b. 4-4, no not the same year)....lynn a teacher in widowhood.....& she lives e side upper 80s.. a nosh w elaine and maybe judy and who wants to join prob 3 or 4 is enuf.... and to hotel to crash or swim and wake and swim again and dissolve the back pain before the airplane crams us into those seats again like sardines in a can flying tues 11-12-13 gotta b lucky to chicago then the drive home to see jerry and los gatos and hug and get fur all over and eat and sleep and not move wed while steve goes to work & then to bid jjj farewell when he busses to des moines, call a few docs re enter our alleged reality in iowa call a few more docs and plan when the heart zapreroo, when the pt, how to change the iowa cares ( a little bit) into medicaid (* thank you mister president) and pack and go to florida to be with mama.... adam escorts her there now. we are on the a team all b well. come visit where i am, but ya gotta find me first. home. for a few weeks i will b kissing kitties.
