ok so i have some work lined up from this gentlemen, he wants the valve covers and a bracket next to the carb and a two part flat pan thats holds the scoop onto this car dipped in gold carbon.. priced these parts out at $.40per which brought this job around $300 hes fine with that.. then he comes back in with the scoop again measured it out at $.40per which landed the scoop at $330, he says it didnt cost that much to make and cant come out on that price and pulls it. i wanted to ask someone who has maybe done one or similar, what kinda ballpark should i negotiate with him.. scoop was rattle canned primer and lacquer panted
