okay, book nerds...need your suggestions. im in a total post-goldfinch slump. havent felt this despondent since harry potter. i like fiction books with compelling plot lines (not so much into the character study type books) that are easy to read. i dont like long descriptive passages that i need a dictionary by my side to understand. but i also dont like trashy beach reads about new york socialite teenagers or whatever. theres got to be a healthy medium. sorry this status was so long but youre into reading, right? anyway, hit me! EDIT: thank you for your suggestions, everyone, please keep them coming! and im sorry if im being difficult. i have a very short attention span and if im not hooked in chapter 1, i usually dont keep reading. thank you for dealing with me.
