opinions on INSULATED chore boots?? muck bogs lacrosse dunlop rocky irish setter western wear servus baffin what do you wear or really want to get? are you male or female and wearing male or female boots? i gotta say, i tried on several pair of these highly touted muck brand boots and they are the worst fitting boots i have ever tried on! they dont come in half sizes, they are too loose on the heels, they are all made for over-pronators, they offer NO arch support or foot support, the insoles were not comfortable and the womens pink or purple ones (still in mens sizes) are inexplicably $60 more than the mens black boots! i was slightly conflicted between the western wear brand and the bogs brand boots, before i met the LaCrosse brand boots! the mudlites? they are SO comfortable! easy on/off, squishy insole made for walking, substantial sole and tread but not heavy as most mens boots are, and visibly well constructed! and warm. my feet were sweating after a little while... IF i can find a way to justify spending $100 on a pair of boots to get poo on? i might go back and get them. it would be awful nice to have warm toes this winter... but $100 for something that ima just get poo on! ug... *sigh* lol.
