#polymerartchallenge Some of us have nominated Wendy Moore and the Sammunat ladies. Neither have FB profiles, so I took the liberty of contacting Wendy. All have agreed to participate and I will post their images and stories here. There will be more than 5 from the Sammunat ladies because the are working so had creating adornments for others. Here is Wendy Moores first contribution. The first one ( the figure) is significant to me as she was made in Nepal during a time of abandoned play combined with sheer terror about the momentous move we had just made. Very much an alter ego. I would look at the colours of ladies clothes over there, choose a combo and work with that for a month. Immersing myself in it. These were the earrings Kopila saw me making when she asked if I could teach the ladies about polymer. I would like to nominate Heather Richmond because she was the first Australian I met doing polymer many many years ago.
