posting for I’m facing an issue with getting my son’s residence permit. He was born here in Bahrain. On his birth certificate we wanted to put my husband’s family name as his surname however we were told by the gentleman at the health center that due to a computer system constrain the baby’s surname can only be my husband’s first and middle names. It’s been three months since we’ve been going back and forth trying to give him the name that we chose for him instead of what the computer system is proposing. Can anyone share their experience if they’ve faced a similar problem or recommend how we can resolve this? We’re desperate to fix this as we can’t exit Bahrain till this isn’t resolved. Any help on this will be much appreciated!!
