proud moment for me: the loves of my life, Andrew & Rachel, were relentlessly stung by yellow jackets after Andrew stepped on their nest near the rope swing at Bass Lake, miles away from thankfully-unnecessary epinephrine. they were able to strip naked and jump into the river for some kind of (wait for it...) shelter from the swarm, but Andrews backpack and one of his shoes were left on top of the nest. this video documents the rescue effort, which as any obvious hero will tell you, was a group effort. :D
