so Ive never posted in here before and am a little drunk but here goes, and I even have a story... Container - defined the technoise scene (pretty much, others include Pete Swanson, Unicorn Hard-on). Pulsing, analogue techno with noise stabs that somehow pulsate on and permeate through everything. I spent the summer of 2013 in New York and somehow wrangled my way onto the guest list of a boiler room with Container. It was of course a fantastic night, but one particular memory is of this one mentalist crushing cans of red bull over himself and wearing a black bag over his head whenever he had to go near the camera. I asked him why, and all he shouted was SNOWDEN. I was missing my brothers birthday and wanted to get him something really special. I approached Container after his set and explained my brother idolises his music and would really appreciate a message from him. Container (Ren) then texts my brother off my phone wishing him a happy birthday. We get talking and he invites me to hang around with him for the evening. We drive to some of the weirdest gigs Ive ever been to, including a spoken word piece involving eggs being smashed on a guys head, with his girlfriend and a promoter from DC. I later find out his girlfriend is Unicorn Hard-On. After getting absolutely smashed and being Rens cheerleaders at the last proper bunker gig, I offer them up my swanky Manhattan hotel room for the night, courtesy of the company I am with. Ren and Unicorn decide to pass up and drive back to providence, but the promoter dude from DC stays. We keep getting shithoused, grab about an hour of sleep, and head to brunch - of course, we continue drinking there. We say our goodbyes and go our separate ways. A couple of days later, I go to see a hair police gig in red hook. The mental red bull guy is there, and we start drinking... I hope that provides enough back story for the sheer insanity of this fantastic track and awesome artist, and if you managed to get through it all, much respect to you
