#summerofhandstand , day 4. Feet activation power!!!! @bryceyoga (two of the most floaty,breezy, strong handstand masters around) asked that we point, flex and floint our feet. I am thinking of my feet all day long in a yoga practice, as it is so good and stabilizing for ANY posture, be it a standing pose OR an inversion. Furthermore, I secretly love that moving the toes and ankles opens up energy channels,(or meridians or nadis) all along the legs, releases the fascia and connects me super super strong into my heart and into my core. #handstand certainly is a matter of finding that balance along the plumb-line, then losing it and regaining it again. That also happens with the breath, with our thoughts, relationships, owning a business, patience, etc. Catch that moment of hang time, and if you (start to) fall, bring it right on back, or get right back on up.
