telling me that i dont know what im talking about or that i just havent experienced the real world yet without providing any context as to why im wrong is insulting and is an attack on me as a person. by doing this you are telling me that the hours i spend anxiously researching my opinions just to make sure that im not harming or attacking others was for nothing. by doing this you are telling me that my lived experiences and knowledge are irrelevant and should be erased simply because what i talk about is something you dont like. by doing this you are telling me that the only opinions of mine that matter are the ones that dont make you uncomfortable and the ones that you dont arbitrarily disagree with. i have no problem with debating but dont ever tell me that i have no idea when you have no evidence contrary to why i believe the things i do; this is especially aggravating when the only piece you offer to the conversation is essentially i say so.
