the liar... Noynoy denied that it was taken up during his meeting with Li saying that the discussions between them were all about the South China Sea territorial issue. That claim of Noynoy sent a flurry of retractions from China with the mainland’s foreign ministry issuing a statement that all Noynoy said regarding his meeting with Li were untrue, or to be blunt, barefaced lies. Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hua Chunying said that in the dialog, Li made it clear that China urged Noynoy “to earnestly respect the feelings of the families of the victims, take this issue seriously and offer a fair and reasonable solution as soon as possible.” Noynoy in turn appears to belittle the 2010 hostage tragedy and the Hong Kong demands for restitution considering that the territory is a mere region of China and that he is currently engaged in a cold war with Beijing. Noynoy’s thirst for conflict is also a hallmark in his domestic dealings primarily with his opponents in politics. There’s something completely off, however, in Noynoy’s choice to engage his enemies with lies which later on are clearly refuted. Lies are far from the normal course for a nation’s leader.
