three day work shop commenced here hosted by the Ministry of foreign affairs on WTO reference centre. It is being conducted in two phases, the first phase which started yesterday target government officials. Cubert Knights Director of Trade explained that the WTO has a learning resource strategy which is delivered over a learning platform. It is a learning resources in which he is urging and encouraging persons to make full use of the opportunity and advised the government officials to engage in these learning subjects and activities and to take the message back to their various ministries and institution. He further advised that it is open to everyone to use the reference center for research purposes, which is a serious place for serious people. The main objective is to enable government officials, the private sector, and the academic community to have a regular updated and direct privilege link to the trade information resources of the WTO secretariat of Guyana in Geneva.
