update on Daves Mom: She was given 1 unit of blood to fix some dizziness when getting up. Since receiving the blood she feels much better. Tonight she put weight on her feet for the first time since the accident! Baby steps..... But she is on her way to recovery. The plan for tomorrow is to have her sitting in a chair. Good news is that she is out of the ICU. Due to the lack of bed availability she has been received a free upgrade to the Gumenick Suites at MCV. Her room is called the Commonwealth Room.... This is the area that celebrities or VIPs usually stay. She has a bedroom and a living room to herself! I have attached pictures of the living room that is off of the bedroom, but the bedroom is just as fancy (no pictures since my Mom hates pictures) The private suite contains: attached private living room, 2 televisions, surround sound, DVD player, kitchenette area with fully stocked Keurig station, and refrigerator, 2 full bathrooms, both with showers, hardwood floor throughout, crown molding throughout, floor to ceiling windows, high quality paintings, and Chef prepared meals are available! I think I want to move in! If you are planning to visit her, there is plenty of room!
