when i think back on events of the last 3 years i come to realize that i shed many many tears. but when i think again, i realize that many of those tears where tears of happiness more than those of sadness. of course i know there is ugliness in this world. or course i know there is poverty and hunger. of course i knew there would be innocent victims god bless their souls. nevertheless, my most cherished tears flowed when i saw my fellow men bond together against common enemies, they flowed when i saw the ordinary man in the street live up to the pedestal i put him on. they flowed when all colors and all religions held hands together against a common danger. those are the tears that i count more numerous and worthy than the tears that were shed because of the evil inherent in human nature. i REFUSE to give up hope because of tears. i DEMAND and investigate those tears. ALWAYS see the positive and magnanimous in everything even in such a weakling as a tear.
