BENGALI AS SECOND OFFICIAL LANGUAGE IN JHARKHAND. why urdu is the second official language of jharkhand why not bengali. urdu as second official language in indian states- 1. delhi 2. andhra pradesh 3. U.P 4. bihar 5. karnataka 6. jharkhand urdu as first official language - jammu &kashmir because of muslim vote bank politics muslims achieve from govt. what they want. bengali language is like a mother not biased on cast community and religion. Bangladesh is a muslim country with 90% muslim population but their mother tongue and official language is bengali. bengali language in jharkhand- east and west singhbhum ,saraikela kharsawan, silli tamar bundu of ranchi, chas chandankyari of bokaro disst,dhanbad,jamtara,dumka,pakur. two types of banglabhashi population- type1. pure bengali speaker migrants setteler from west bengal but they are seteled in jharkhand at least 300 years. 2. jharkhandi moolnivashi sadan banglabhashi. they speak mix or remix bangla with local language. a. kurmali+bangla- silli tamar, b. bangla+khortha c.bangla+panchpargania in year 2002 arjun munda govt. declare bangali and santhali as second official language of jharkhand but when madhu koda come in power he change the deceason and give urdu as second official language. my sadan(mahato) friends ask me why bengali why not kurmali or khortha ? Reason- jharkhandi languages like kurmali ,khortha,panchpargania are not developed language. these jharkhandi languages has following limitation - 1. lack of vocavoulari(sabd bhandar ki kami) 2. lack of scientific words and technical termology. 3. not have own scipt. 4. not well developed grammer 5.very limited word stock. 6. standandarisation of language- for example we speak hindi that is hindi of western U.P that is considerd as national language. 7. lack of written literature. 8. very much undeveloped language. among the indian language sanskrit and Tamil is most developed language.
