youtube/watch?v=qlTA3rnpgzU This is the way we should be going as a province...solar road ways...expensive yes. But little by little it would save us money in the long run. Power generated from these roads, good for the environment. No salt on our roads destroying our cars, no ploughing snow. Less accidents due to weather conditions. Rome wasnt built in a day nor was the internet. Our health would be a lot better too. No pollution, we all could be running electric cars. Think about it, we can not only make life better for the environment but us to! Not only that power lines and our high speed internet wires would be under ground. Just think no more power outages... no more slippery roads..no more school closures that costs taxpayers loads of money. How about driving that bike in the winter...with solar roads youll be able to do it. A boulder falls in the middle of the road, youre warned. This is something we should be pushing our government to do. The roads of the future can start in Nova Scotia. Families will want to move here, just think about all the jobs that will be created by this and all the electricity well get off it...and it will pay for it self. All these people harping about the environment...well this is the way to go. So what are we waiting for? Share on Facebook, Share on Twitter. Email all politicians and let them know we had enough of oil companies, we had enough of pollution, rust on our cars...its endless. This is the way of the future. Dont think so? They laughed at man and told him he could never go on the moon. Look lets make our highways even safer with solar. Plus well benefit from the solar power for our cars....for our homes. No more being held hostage by foreign countries. Lets be leaders in this province and encourage other provinces in Canada to follow suit. Lets be positive...lets do it and get it done!!
