42 years ago on the farm Im getting ready to move to, I stepped over some tall grass along the lake. I felt the grass move, looked down to see a rattle snake literally a foot away from me. Everyone around me said Dont move. I COULDNT MOVE. I was FROZEN IN FEAR. My husband ran to get a shovel, came back and cut into the snake chopping off the head. But that Damn snakes body went crazy writhing all over the place. Meantime, I WAS STILL FROZEN. So I know exactly what I would do.
