A security guard told me today that our protest was not proper for Singapore. Really, because I totally thought that prancing around in body paint and underwear was completely socially acceptable?! I dont care if its proper. Air France transporting monkeys bound for experimentation is not proper. If everyone keeps doing only proper things, the world will never change. People need to do more than abide by rules if we want to draw public attention to and create a demand to end practices that exploit others, human and non-human. Ignoring suffering is contributing to it. Also, Singapores Changi Airport requires you present a passport before theyll give you a wifi access code. For freaking real?! GET ME OUT OF HERE.
