AHSAN UNTOO DIFFERED THE SELF IMMOLATION Srinagar: Today on 2nd September, 2013 the executive meeting of the legal advisory Board of the IFJHRFJK held its Central Office Srinagar under the chairmanship of advisor advocate Shabir Ahmad Bhat. The unamously decided to defer the self-immolation protest against the disbanding the VDC at Kishtiwar. In view of the petition filed before Hon’ble High Court of Jammu and Kashmir at Srinagar, regarding the disbanding of VDC, as members have full faith in the judiciary and all the members are agreed since the matter is subjudice before the Hon’ble High Court. Chairman IFJHRFJK Mohammad Ahsan Untoo had differed the program of self-immolation which was scheduled to held on 05 September 2013 and it is appropriate to wait the verdict of the Hon’ble High Court and future programme will be decided after the final disposal of the petition. The advisory board members have also requested the International Community with regarding the recent killing of LOC and independent body may be constituted to investigate these killings.
