Before the holidays, we sent a letter to the Pharmacy Commission on behalf of pharmacists detailing how more and more pressure is placed on pharmacists to provide direct patient care services as well as fill prescriptions quickly and accurately. The response has been overwhelming, and we appreciate the input. The Task Force that the Commission directed to investigate the metrics and other issues has met, and we are now looking for more information from other pharmacists. Please feel free to circulate this letter to your colleagues who may not be CPA members so they are aware of our work and can call us to share their confidential views and concerns.
