CHALLENGES ARE GOOD Through out the few years of my life, have blossomed and progressed in instances that have been challenged in some way. Under challenging situations, you know who is for you or against. When things are rosy, its easier to erroneously assume every Jim and Jack is with you. Critics will hide and celebrate secretely when you do well and condemn publicly you perform below expectations. But hey, we need both if we are to mature and shine. Though mere criticism does not help, constructive criticism does a great deal. We all need Challenges in order to keep moving towards perfection. Challenges bring out the best that is in us. They push us towards our destiny. Challenges are not meant to destroy us but mould us more into a people God desires us to be. When I lost my precious limbs on the spot, 14 years ago today, very few people believed there was anything left in me to bring to the table. To the prophets of doom, I was as good as dead. Alas, against all odds and by the special grace of God I rose from the death bed, defeated my acquired disability and fought my way to where I am today. I believe, this far, have accounted so well for myself and given life a good fight of faith. I am fully aware that whatever He brings my way, He knows I can handle. Indeed, the stuff that forms my make-up is capable of overcoming any predicament. The confidence I have is that God is so faithful not to tempt nor challenge us beyond what we can handle. Last Sunday my boys and I were a subject of ridicule and verbal abuse, mostly from people we eat with, for losing the final match in the Christmas tournament. We were booed by our friends. A word for these guys is that, You guys did nothing wrong, as a matter of fact, you added great funny to thet occasion. You gave the FAZ Division 2 side from Kabwe added advantage and am pretty sure they felt at home. To our fans, you guys were excellent on the day and am really sorry that we failed to honour you with the first Prize. To the boys I say, the effort was great. Keep your heads up !!! Merry Christmas all !!!
