Mr Z Khan of a car hire company in the City was served with 79 warnings to appear in Wynberg Traffic court yesterday on 79 warrants of arrest. He did not make an appearance and the prosecutor was left with the four bundles of warrants of arrest. This left the magistrate with no choice but to issue another batch of warrants for his arrest. Two weeks ago a taxi driver was arrested on a warrant of arrest and kept in police custody. Do the traffic authorities have different strokes for different folks?
