I found an unbiased site with information on the Nevada Margin Tax for Public Schools initiative. After reading everything, I will be voting for it, not against it. Education in Nevada has suffered through over $700 million in cuts since 2009. Nevada ranks 49th out of 50 states in per pupil spending. The tax which is imposed on businesses with over $1M in gross receipts would bring much needed money to improve our school system. 87% of Nevada Businesses would be unaffected by TEI. Research shows that a high-quality education increases the earnings of individuals and the economic health of their communities. Join the teachers and the kids that do not have a voice. Dont support the big labor unions and casinos who are trying to increase profits for share holders.
