Eight Indian students have been declared as winners of the British Council IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Scholarship Award 2013 and will receive Rs 300,000 each towards the cost of tuition fees. Five winners will pursue full-time post-graduate programmes in the UK and three others will study in Australia, Canada and the US. This year, there has been an even spread of winners from across India. Janvi Thaker from Kolkata , Avrina Jos Joslin Thambi from Viluppuram, Gurjot Singh Garcha from Ludhiana, Jahnavi Milind Mirashi from Pune, Sadia Zafar from Navi Mumbai, Shraddha Kaur from Gurgaon, Pramita Roy from Kolkata and Gowri Rastogi from Bangalore. Congratulations to the winners !
