Excerpt from the personal narrative of a current Mountain View scholar: I thank God that I came to this school because Mountain View changed my life in a big way. I used to be shy, and I didnt trust myself at all. Mountain View Alternative High School taught me to believe in myself, to believe that I can do anything without depending on others. I used to go to school for my parents because they wanted a better future for me, but now Im doing this for me.
