Fundraiser Appeal to the Community for Nicole Davis Hello my name is Nicole Davis and I live in Lot C of Arrowwood. I am 20 years old and have lived most of my life in Ann Arbor and in Arrowwood. Most recently something happened to me and changed my life. A month ago, I was involved in a horrific automobile accident where the pedestrian was killed. Sharita was a 20 years old and a Clinton Township resident. She was the same age as I am and I am so sad for what has happened. I wish I could go back in time and change my whole day over. Waking up in the morning thinking your day is going to be okay and then this happens. It was a horrible experience and it is not a day that goes by that I can’t stop seeing her face 24/7; I replay the accident in my head every day. You can’t imagine how I feel taking someone else’s life. People tell me not to cry, but the day to day stress and the possibility that I may go to prison is overwhelming. I am 20 years old and have my whole life and so did Sharita. The pedestrian, Sharita, had a name and I have asked God to forgive me. I need your prayers and help so that I can get help for my defense. Because of this I am facing a charge of reckless driving causing death, a felony of maybe 15 years in prison and a $7500 fine if convicted of the manslaughter charge. I am a student and work at Kroger for minimum wage. I am appealing for help from the community and need the help of my parents, neighbors, friends in order to pay for my defense. My parents and God parents have set up a fundraiser appeal to the community and are accepting donations, in whatever amount, that can be given. There will be an account set up where we would greatly appreciate any blessing that the community can give. It takes a village to help one another.
