**GENERAL UPDATE** I have been a little nuts today. First, Babu, who is now officially dubbed BJ Raji (the B being for Babu), is doing well, but has started to develop an infection, so he is on antibiotics. Gracie, who has settled in beautifully over the last few weeks, goes tomorrow for her spay. She has gained weight and lost boobage, so she is doing well! :D She is a very happy girl, and is on her way to becoming best pals with Hope. Hope did her best to drive me to drink, and was escaping two, three and four times a day. Knock on wood, she seems to have called a truce, and we have achieved some semblance of sanity again! We received a gift card to Home Depot from a wonderful lady named Nancy. I was immediately in tears because the note attached said, In loving memory of sweet little Randle. Miss that kitty something awful. I got an e-mail from the shelter where little BJ Raji is located. They have a sweet boy named Mowgli that needs some good luck and a break. He was found sometime ago in a sub-basement, severely emaciated and dehydrated. After being rescued, it was learned he has a seizure disorder. Needless to say, due to the seizures, he gets overlooked for adoption. He has now been waiting for over a year. I spent the whole day asking myself two questions: How can I possibly make this happen? Will Lee think I have gone totally loopy if I even suggest another pup hitching a ride with BJ?? Somewhere in there with those questions, I realized: what does it hurt to try? Mowgli has been waiting for so long, why not do a Hail Mary, and see what we can do for him? So here goes the fastest fundraiser ever. We have almost no time to pull this off, but I am going to do my best anyway! This is what we will need to do a Group Rotation Yard set up. I scraped the prior plan for BJs set-up, and lumped it all together. It saved some money individually, but ran the total price up of course. I have gone over every possible scenario, and this was the lowest I could get it! The other options ranged up to $4080 (EEK, but did LOVE this set-up!) and $7500...*insert heart attack here* We will be doing a combo of places; some items from Home Depot, some from Tractor Supply, and a few from WalMart. I hunt down deals, no matter where they are!! :D Dont know if we can make this happen, but Mowgli deserves to know that people care enough to try.
