Harlequin Tuskfish The stunning Harlequin Tuskfish usually has eight pairs of alternating orange, blue, and white bands on its body and prominent sharp, blue teeth. This species inhabits coral reefs and have been found as deep as 105 feet. The Harlequin Tuskfish is a solitary animal, but it can be aggressive and territorial at times. Diet- The Harlequin Tuskfish is carnivorous and primarily feeds on crustaceans, mollusks, worms, and echinoderms. Size- This fish reaches up to 12 inches in length. Range- The Harlequin Tuskfish can be found in the Western Pacific region from Taiwan to Western Australia and New Caledonia. Population Status- This species is not threatened. Predators- Larger fish, moray eels and sharks.
