How To See Why A Facebook Advertiser Is Targeting You! Did you know that you can look at any ad on Facebook and find out the main reason its being shown to you? Facebook offers advertisers a vast array of targeting parameters - everything from the Pages youve liked, the interests youve expressed, the websites you visit in any browser or on mobile, as well as a plethora of data provided by third party companies with which Facebook has a relationship. Earlier this year, Facebook unveiled the option for users to dig into their individual ad preferences, and edit them in order to see more relevant ads. This video takes you on a walk through several ads on both mobile and desktop to help you understand (and edit) the ads you see. The video has many helpful tips for users, including editing your ad privacy settings and even opting out altogether from certain targeting parameters.
