I love Scott Joplin songs and have listened to them zillions of times over the years. This one has always been a favorite of mine because I think it is delicate and elegant. When I think of ragtime, one of the musical phrases in this particular song is exactly what comes to mind for me. I think most of the time this is played faster than I like to play it so hopefully if Scott Joplin ever hears it he will forgive my speed. I figure he might be happy its still being heard though and not get too hung up on the tempo. (I hear Joplin was a huge fan of womens tennis.
