It seems that many of Gods own people make it difficult to believe in him. Religion is NOT a Relationship. The idea of Christianity is NOT the same as being like Christ. Calling yourself a Christian does NOT mean you are righteous nor does is mean you are delivered. Being Spiritual and being Religious are NOT the same thing. Having great knowledge of God is NOT the same as having the wisdom of God. And if it is not obvious by now, being a true follower of Christ DOES NOT MEAN YOU KNOW EVERYTHING NOR ARE YOU GOD. So you still have to RESPECT EVERYONE ELSE! Can God live within us? YES. Can he teach us directly and indirectly? YES. Will we always understand his lessons or his plan? ABSOLUTELY NOT but the point of Faith is to do what he says anyway and believe that it is for your Good, not for a Good Feeling. Can we become one with Gods Will? YES. Can we then, become God? NO NO NO NO NO. By our very definition, we are flawed!!!! A saint is just a sinner in rehab people! We need help every second of our short and troubled lives like everyone else. We are just supposed to know where that help comes from. The Bible was not a book made to impress or entertain us. Jesus is the Blueprint of what type of people we are supposed to be. Not David, nor Moses, nor Peter, nor Paul are who we should focus on, but God through Christ who allowed such great men to obtain greatness in the first place. There are too many different opinions and ideas about who or what a Christian is supposed to be...I just want to be Christ like, Godly like. I want to seek God for myself. Then and only then can I know his true purposes and his plan for ME, not some get rich scheme, mind controlling idea that people tend to come up with. If God is indeed who he says he is, then you can bet I am going to find out. It is a choice people. You do not have to acknowledge God in the slightest if you choose not to! However, I kindly ask that you gently move out if the way when I come through to seek him. Ok Im done with my random rant for today.
