Just watched a kid learn a valuable lesson about jay walking. Instead of walking up approx 20 feet to the crosswalk and hitting the button to cross he decided to bolt out In traffic to save himself 30seconds of inconvenience. Unfortunately for him his samsung galaxy 4 decided in the middle of the road to not go any further as it fell out of his pocket in middle of Warwick blvd. the kid was smart enough to realize he did t have time to stop and pick it up and all he could do and did was stand in the grassy median and watch car after car drive over his phone. To both of our amazement as we made eye contact waiting for traffic to go by NONE of the 20 plus cars actually hit it. Keyword being cars cuz at the end of the pack of cars was a 18 wheeler and his luck ran out. That truck decimated the phone into probably a dozen or so fragments so much so the kid just dropped his head and walked away not even trying to salvage it. Friends dont let friends jaywalk!
