Last night was the happiest night of my life. I did not know joy - TopicsExpress

Last night was the happiest night of my life. I did not know joy of this magnitude was possible, and it was enhanced by the deep outpouring of love and support from our family and friends, for whom we could not be more grateful. Max Quinlan planned and schemed as only a nervous fiancé-to-be can do, and pulled off a hugely successful and amazing night (not least of all because I said “yes” to his very important question). From the cover story of Phil Jacobsons amazing show, which I now know was set up by Max, Ira Ulrichs help in making the ring possible, Jonathan Goldman flying all the way from LA and singing backup and helping it all run smoothly, my mother Linda Howard-Kloepfer taking me to the salon for lash extensions (amazing choice as I did not have mascara running down my face last night as I wept tears of joy), Kathleen Rose OHara Hurleys bachelorette party the night before when I got a manicure(!), my parents hiding next door until Max’s song to me, my sisters Jessica and Joanna, and dearest friends all giving their best acting performance by not crying, smiling too widely or hugging me too long until the reveal, and the presence both physical and in spirit, of our loved ones. Max is the love of my life. He makes me whole, makes me want to be a better person, helps me feel joy in the everyday, calms my storms, reminds me that happiness is created not given, and feel love I never thought possible or never knew I deserved. It is enough that I got to wake up next to him this morning, let alone know that I get to spend the rest of my life waking up next to him. Thank you everyone for helping to make it all possible and help us feel like the happiest people alive!
