Left for a ride at 6am this morning. Eric Mackintosh and Chad Gautier with me. Chose to ride early as the streets are a bit safer and its just amazing in the South-bay up to Malibu. At Aimee and Redondo Beach Blvd had the red light, pushed the crossing light button and before I could catch up to Eric and Chad...a truck turns and slams into Eric as hes crossing the intersection with the right of way. As Chad and I witness this, we notice the driver laughing as he hits Eric. Took all of our might not to yank the guy out of the truck and, well you know. Eric is ailing a bruised hip and sore knee. Bike is completely totaled. Please be careful out there. Lets share the road.
