Many find following Jesus on the narrow way hard because they can no give up the things they need to let go, their desires and ambitions. The reason why one would find it hard is because they simply believe lies. Struggling in having to let go of anything to follow Jesus alone, means deep down inside you believe that thing is better and worth more than Jesus Christ and His Words. Some go as far as lying to themselves and label Jesus on that thing so they do not have to face the reality that it’s an idol. Are you actually denying yourself, picking up your cross and following Jesus?
