Much of what plagues us in our life is stuff that we can do nothing about. We cannot control the weather. We cannot control the environment. We cannot control the other drivers on the road:) We cannot control what others do to us or say about us. We cannot control decisions and choices made by others that bring us pain. We can only control ourselves. We can control how we react. We can control how we respond to others, how we treat others and what we say about others. We can make decisions that we will not allow ourselves to be defeated by those things we cannot control. We can choose to turn those situations over to the Lord. We can decide to live to the best of our ability for His Glory rather than allowing others to dictate how we live!
